The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading NFP organisation on a fixed-term contract basis. Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support with end-to-end payroll processing for an upcoming leave cover. 

Ideally, you’ll have experience working within the Health and/or Aged care sector and be familiar with related EBA’s and awards. An immediate start is preferred. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing fortnightly payrolls across multiple sites 
• End-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees 
• Updating and maintaining payroll records, including processing variations, new starters, leave, and timesheets
• Calculating and processing termination payments and correction pays
• Reconciling month end General Ledger posting

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience 
• Practical knowledge in interpreting and applying relevant heath and aged care EBA’s and awards 
• Excellent knowledge of payroll compliance
• Highly effective numeracy, attention to detail and data entry skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to commit to a fixed-term contract within a stable payroll team
