The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with an organisation in the NDIS sector to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist for an initial 6-month contract. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideal for someone with full Australian working rights who is confident working autonomously and managing end-to-end payroll processes.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing for 250+ employees on a weekly basis
- Interpretation and application of relevant awards, including SCHADS
- Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Maintaining accurate employee records
- Supporting reporting and reconciliation processes
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Previous experience working under the SCHADS Award is highly regarded
- Experience using Employment Hero
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Full Australian working rights
- Must be NSW-based to obtain a valid Working with Children Check
- This is a remote role; however, you will be required to provide your own equipment (e.g. laptop).
