The Challenge

As the Risk Manager, you will lead the implementation of robust risk management frameworks within the Business Services team. Reporting to the CRO, this role is integral to enhancing risk awareness, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive and strategic third-party risk management professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys partnering with senior business leaders to achieve optimal third-party risk and return outcomes. Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to;

• Partner with business leaders to develop, assess, and manage risks while ensuring effective control environments.
• Facilitate risk and control assessments, incident management, and compliance with policies and frameworks.
• Provide expert guidance on risk management initiatives, including training, policy reviews, and system deployment.
• Lead risk assessments for change and third-party risk management in key projects.
• Drive a risk-aware culture and equip teams to monitor business risk profiles and address emerging issues.
• Manage the group risk system to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Coach and mentor team members to foster high performance and alignment with organisational values. 

The Expertise

• Strategic and operational  risk management experience with demonstrable record of success in dynamic ASX/MNE environments
• Proven ability to mentor and upskill business resources regarding risk and governance frameworks, policies and procedures
• Superior third-party risk management experience
• Excellent knowledge of controls and reviewing effectiveness
• A strong influencer, with the ability to gain alignment and commitment through persuasive action
• An extremely high level of financial and commercial capability, with proven experience in applying financial and operational performance frameworks to drive successful business outcomes and contractual obligations
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with proven ability to engage and drive performance
