The Opportunity

Our client is a recognised international organisation that is led by some of the brightest and sharpest business leaders in Australia and abroad. The ideal candidate will be immediately available or able to commence at short notice. You will bring a strong foundation in financial reporting, along with the opportunity to further develop your commercial and operational exposure.

The Challenge

As the Senior Accountant, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Financial accounting including month-end close, review of monthly reporting and management reporting packs.
• Budgeting & forecasting.
• Preparation of board distribution papers.
• External reporting such as tax compliance and assisting with the annual audit.
• Involvement in monthly analysis including corporate cash flows and forecasts.
• Assisting with the half-year and annual reporting process including the preparation of the financial reports.
• Ad hoc activities projects and financial support in investment activities.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA/CPA qualified with circa 5-8 years’ experience.
• Ideally, you have trained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm within Business Services. You have since transitioned into industry where you have gained hands-on financial accounting experience.
• A demonstrated ability to build and maintain rapport with employees, stakeholders and business partners. 
• High levels of initiative and a proactive attitude.
