The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading not-for-profit organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the finance function during a period of significant transformation under a new CEO and interim CFO.

Ideally, you will have an understanding of the disability sector as an active NDIS Worker Screening Check is required prior to onboarding.

The Challenge

Reporting to the interim CFO your key responsibilities will include the following:

• End-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
• Daily bank reconciliations and journal entries
• BAS preparation and lodgement
• Month-end reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting the finance team during organisational change
• Contributing to process improvements and accurate financial record keeping

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Minimum 4 years of practical bookkeeping experience, ideally in the NDIS or not-for-profit sector
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar accounting systems)
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and an understanding of supporting people with disability in a service environment
• Immediate availability to commit to 6-months fixed-term
• Active NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain prior to onboarding)
