The Opportunity
Our client is a fast growing consumer brand with a strong presence across a national store network. The business has built a loyal following through a simple, high quality offering and disciplined execution. Backed by an experienced and entrepreneurial leadership team, this is a key role for a commercially minded finance professional to partner across the business. The position sits close to the CFO and broader leadership team, with exposure to performance, financial analysis, growth strategy, and operational decision making.

The Challenge
Reporting directly to the CFO, the roles key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Owning the end-to-end budgeting process and rolling forecasts, including clear assumption setting
• Building and refining scenario models to improve forecast accuracy and decision making
• Delivering weekly flash reporting with sharp commentary on trends, risks, and actions
• Leading monthly management and Board reporting with clear, commercially focused insight
• Conducting deep variance analysis to identify drivers and course-correct quickly
• Supporting pricing, investment, and growth decisions through rigorous financial analysis
• Identifying cost efficiencies while maintaining operational performance
• Partnering with operations, marketing, and support functions to translate data into action
• Identifying performance gaps, diagnosing root causes, and driving action plans with stakeholders
• Lifting reporting quality, controls, and data integrity across the finance function
• Improving dashboards, tools, and processes to support a scaling business

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA or CPA qualification
• 6+ years experience in multi site, FMCG, retail, or hospitality sectors
• Proven ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to link financials to operations
• Advanced financial modelling and strong Excel capability; BI tools experience preferred
• High attention to detail with a consistent track record of accurate delivery
