The Opportunity 

Our client is an industry leader in their consumer products sector with annual revenue of over $1 billion and a strong reputation for success and innovation. Due to year on year growth they are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join a vibrant, cohesive team. 

The Challenge

This is a great opportunity to use your commercial analysis skills to support key executives at a divisional level within the business.  The objective of this role is to design, drive and monitor business performance. You will play a lead role in providing commercial insight and advice to facilitate improved financial and business decisions. 

As a key member of the commercial team, you will be involved in:

• Budgeting and forecasting;
• Producing presentations and managing stakeholders internally and externally.
• Monthly financial & operational reporting;
• Provide sales reporting at a national, state or customer view;
• Support the sales team by tracking actual sales against targets to support business growth;
• Work with the business to ensure financial targets are achieved, providing analytical support and insight to support decision making;
• Pricing analysis and support;
• Project management;
• Retrieving business information and sales data, to convert this into business intelligence for the use of commercial and performance initiatives

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Well-developed commercial analysis and management reporting skills;
• Strong data analytics and insights skills;
• Most likely you have experience in a large Australian company with a complex matrix structure; and
• Highly regarded will be FMCG experience with the likes of a leading supermarket retailer or beverage business or airline.
