The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a growing healthcare group in Sydney’s Parramatta. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with a deep knowledge of Awards/EBAs and excellent communication skills. 

This role will be 2IC to the Payroll Manager and serve as acting Payroll Manager in their absence. Ideally, you will have Employment Hero and KeyPay system exposure, experience within a multi-entity organisation and strong technical skills.  

The Challenge
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities,
• Ensure compliance with industrial awards/EBAs
• Handle onboarding and termination payroll processes
• Provide expert guidance on complex payroll issues and support junior staff with mentoring and training.
• Produce advanced payroll reports and insights to support business and management decisions.
• Support system upgrades, process improvements, and other strategic payroll projects in collaboration with the Payroll Manager.
• Maintain accurate records for internal and external audits, ensuring data integrity and transparency.

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you have:

• 4+ years of end-to-end payroll processing 
• Exposure to multi-entity organisations is preferred
• Experience working with Employment Hero and KeyPay
• Comprehensive knowledge of awards and EBAs
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
