The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Transformation Specialist to join a high-performing, PE-backed retail organisation embarking on a significant transformation and growth journey. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created six-month contract will play a pivotal role in driving critical projects that will shape the Group’s performance and future direction.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity for an ambitious finance and transformation professional to partner closely with senior leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making and embedding process improvements across the organisation.

The Challenge

Working closely with the CFO and broader leadership team, this role will focus on delivering several high-value initiatives across finance and strategy, including:

• Redesigning performance management frameworks – metrics, reporting and planning
• Building commercial rigour behind strategic business decisions
• Establishing transformation cadence and governance across the Group
• Enhancing capital allocation frameworks and investment approval processes

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformation agenda that combines commercial finance, operational improvement and strategic execution in a fast-evolving business.

The Expertise

The ideal candidate will be CA qualified, with strong foundational experience from a Big 4 or top-tier advisory environment (ideally within Transactions or Consulting), combined with proven experience driving finance and business transformation initiatives within complex, growth-focused organisations.

You will bring:

• CA or CPA Qualified
• 7+ years’ experience across finance transformation, strategy or corporate finance
• Proven financial modelling and analytical capability with commercial insight
• Demonstrated success leading change at Group or divisional level
• A self-starter mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
