The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior AP Officer or AP Team Lead to join a leading healthcare organization going through a phase of growth through acquisition. The role will have two direct reports and is hands on in nature.

The Challenge

Reporting into the AP/AR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
• Manage the reconciling of vendor accounts/statements on a regular basis and follow up and resolve issues/discrepancies within a timely manner
• Manage the processing of debit/credit card expenses, petty cash, staff and client reimbursements 
• Prepare and process electronic fund transfers/cheque payments on a weekly basis as well as assist with month end closing and supplier payments
• Ensure supplier payments are processed in accordance with the company’s agreed trading terms and if not ensure correct paperwork is completed and authority signatures are obtained for variations
• Assist in special projects as assigned and provide supporting documentation for Auditors if requested
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the AP/AR Manager

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 5+ years’ relevant experience, coming from accounts payable. Ideally management and healthcare/NDIS.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills demonstrated through building and developing productive and collaborative working relationships
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft products, including Excel
• Desire to contribute to a friendly & collaborative team environment.
