The Opportunity
Our client is a nationwide leading commercial law firm with a strong foundation in Australia, currently employing 1500+ staff.
This role is a great opportunity for a motivated Credit/Accounts Receivable Officer who is interested in growing their career in a leading law firm. The role is based in a stunning central CBD office with the team typically attending the office four days with one day work from home.

The Challenge
Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Partners, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily management of cash receipts and receipting cash payments received.
- Reconciling bank accounts daily.
- Reconciliation of credit card facilities.
- Management of client questions and internal support as required.
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the Firm.
- Ensuring timely payment of debts including processing invoice cancellations.
- Investigating unallocated cash balances including reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated.
- Actively investigating and resolving any disputes/queries within a timely and effective manner.
- Collating information for internal business needs as required.
- Supporting staff and Partners with related queries.
The Expertise

- Track record of success in Credit/AR positions in professional services firms or in a large, complex organisation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders including Partners and external stakeholders.
