The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large retail client, based in Tullamarine. In this role you’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounts receivable which includes customer relationship management, debtor planning and credit control. 

Culture is key – this position is best suited to a bright, motivated individual with high learnability and excellent attention to detail. You may be a recent accounting or finance graduate with a retail background, or you may have accounts receivable experience coming from a similar product-based environment.

The Challenge

Your duties will include the following:

• Developing and fostering great customer relationships
• Monitoring accounts including credit limits, payments and claims
• Maintaining a clean ledger, following up claims and overdue accounts
• Working on cashflow forecasts for decision making
• Managing all enquires and inboxes
• Reconciling all accounts to maintain up to date ledgers and figures
• Creating new debtors 
• Supporting with end of month processes 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role ideally within a product-based industry or retail environment 
• High attention to detail 
  
• Ability to thrive in high volume and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to engage with business customers and internal departments 
• Working knowledge of SAP or other large ERP system experience 
• Ability to work 5 days onsite in Tullamarine
