The Opportunity
This newly created Bookkeeper role offers the chance to support the finance function of a successful and growing family group. You’ll manage the day-to-day accounts processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role offers flexibility to work remotely and part-time.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll processing for a small team
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- BAS and superannuation compliance
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Liaising with external accountants and suppliers
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this role if you possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer
- Proficient in Xero or similar accounting systems
- Strong understanding of payroll, AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Comfortable working autonomously with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Preference for a part-time, flexible working arrangement
