The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a fast growing, market leading company on a permanent full-time basis. Our client is an Australian construction company who continue to excel in the sector. Located just north of the CBD, this role will be a critical member of the finance team, assisting with accounts receivable, payable, banking, BAS and ad hoc reporting in a growing, successful business. Ideally you will have experience in complex accounts receivable processing in a project based environment. Due to expected growth and a high calibre CFO, there is plenty of learning and career growth opportunities available.
  
The Challenge

Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include: 

• End-to-end Accounts Payable (automated). 
• End-to-end Accounts Receivable.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and dealing with enquiries.
• Cash flow forecasting and generating payment runs.
• Completing GL reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations and end of month journals.
• Providing expertise for all queries relating to invoice exceptions, payments and allocations.
• Opportunity to learn payroll.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Systems experience with Xero (or similar) as well project tracking software preferred.
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
• Adaptable, flexible and open to continual improvement.
• Experience with project based invoicing will be highly regarded.
