The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Collections and Credit Team Lead or Manager to take on a position at a well-known ASX listed FMCG business. They have a strong passion for their products, resulting in a trusted brand and successful business.
The Challenge
The successful candidate will be responsible for the collections process, weekly reporting, developing Team Leaders and adhering to KPI’s set within the credit function.
This role will be reporting to the Group Credit Manager and sitting within the boarder Shared Service function. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Train, develop and manage the collections team of 2 direct reports and 8 people
- Reviewing, interpreting and implementing policies to ensure compliance with changing regulatory requirements.
- Work with Group Credit Manager to develop and achieve budgets/forecasts and key performance targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal senior stakeholders including the Group Credit and Shared Service function.
- Managing the relationship with external stakeholders including illion, Equifax, and external debt collectors,.
- End of month and EOFY reporting for internal senior stakeholders
The Expertise
- 5+ years collections, credit & operational finance experience with relevant degree.
- Experience leading and developing small to large teams whilst being a hands-on manager.
- Exposure to a measured and KPI based environment
- High-level organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities, manage variable workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong numeracy, database and analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Hands on experience with ERP software, ideally SAP.
