The Opportunity

Our client is regarded as market leaders in their industry and is looking to add talent to their commercial finance function. Their high growth and expanding business has meant their finance team has expanded quickly and career development opportunities are available. Excitingly, this role will oversee the whole business’ operations and ongoing projects.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst, this role will work closely with key executives with your core responsibilities including:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to design operationally and commercially viable solutions for customers and to support improvements to the business
• Converting data into information via analytics and modelling, to quantify the commercial impact of business decisions, and enabling stakeholders to drive improvements to their business
• Provide insights and actionable items as outcomes from analytical projects
• Support procurement activities by presenting negotiation options that allow sustainability across all parties
• Enhance processes and policies for both internal and external stakeholders where appropriate

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You may have 1–3 years’ accounting experience in a transactionally focused role, ideally within the logistics or supply chain industry, and are looking to transition into a commercially focused position.
• Alternatively, you have recently completed a graduate program or have had experience working within a chartered firm dealing with relevant industry clients.
• You must have strong excel and data analysis experience. 
• You have an interest in challenging the status quo. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment whilst having strong attention to detail
