The Opportunity
Our client is a dynamic, fast growing company in the Property & Construction sector with a strong pipeline of projects in place. Due to the success, future growth plans and sustainable nature of the business, they are looking to build on their commercial decision-making ability by securing a curious and inquisition up and coming property analyst looking to support senior leadership with scenario builds and analysis contributing to key strategic decisions.
The role will suit an ambitious CA/CPA who is wanting to develop a career in a commercially focussed role in the Property & Construction industry.
The Challenge
You will report into the CFO and work directly with the businesses senior leadership team. Your responsibilities will focus primarily around the below, however a concerted effort will be made to expose you to a broad range of responsibilities to assist your development.
- Supporting the Project Delivery Team by maintaining forecast models and producing monthly project financial analysis and ad hoc modelling.
- Support and collaborate with the senior leadership team by producing financial insights relating to scenario analysis to support key decisions.
- Support the Business Development teams to produce sales reporting.
- Evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting acquisition processes.
The Expertise
We view this role as being a great possible fit for an ambitious CA currently working in Business Services at EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Pitcher Partners, Grant Thornton, Moore Stephens, BDO etc. with Property & Construction clients and a keen interest in this sector.
You may have also already made an initial move from a CA firm and be interested in exploring roles in the Property & Construction sector.
Additionally, you may have completed a graduate rotation that allowed you to complete a CA/CPA at a Property company or similar complex, project based business where you have developed some good skills in financial modelling and scenario-based analysis.
