The Opportunity 
Join a well established investment firm as the Company Accountant. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial processes, strong internal controls, and timely reporting across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a professional environment.

The Challenge 
Reporting into the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include: 

• Processing and reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions
• Scheduling and processing fortnightly payments and remittances
• Monitoring and managing bank balances and preparing reconciliations across multiple entities
• Processing and reconciling credit card statements on a monthly basis
• Performing trial balance reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and processing monthly depreciation entries
• Assisting with the preparation of periodic management reports and year-end work papers
• Managing the finance inbox and responding to internal and external queries promptly
• Maintaining filing systems and regularly archiving documents
• Providing general administrative and clerical support as required
• Undertaking ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest if you possess the following: 

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping, accounts clerk, or similar accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly MYOB and the MS Office suite
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
• Experience in an investment environment is highly desirable but not essential
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
