The Opportunity

Our client is a highly respected national professional services firm, known for its strong values, innovation, and commercial excellence. As the firm continues to evolve, a newly created Finance Business Partner position has been established to provide deeper financial insight and decision support to senior stakeholders across the business.

Working within a high-calibre finance team, this role combines commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and project accounting. It’s well suited to a technically strong finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys translating numbers into meaningful business insight.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering commercial analysis and insights to support business performance and strategic initiatives
• Partnering with stakeholders to manage budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Providing financial input on major projects, business cases and client profitability
• Developing dashboards, financial models and reporting tools for executive leadership
• Supporting ad-hoc analysis across pricing, utilisation, and operational efficiency
• Driving process improvement across commercial reporting and decision support

Your Background

You are a confident and analytical finance professional with:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Possibly, you are a CA with 6+ years’ experience in deals, forensic accounting, insolvency, or a comparable advisory environment (Big 4 or mid-tier)
• Strong financial acumen, commercial mindset, and an ability to work across both structured analysis and ad hoc projects
• A solid foundation in financial modelling and Excel
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
• A desire to apply your technical skills in a more commercial, business-facing environment
