The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, Australian-owned FMCG organisation experiencing ongoing growth and transformation. Sitting within a high-quality finance function, this role plays a critical part in supporting operational performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
As Finance Lead, you will act as a trusted business partner to supply chain leadership, providing insight, analysis and financial stewardship across areas such as sales, stock & inventory, and warehouse & distribution. The role offers meaningful exposure to operational decision-making and the opportunity to influence outcomes through data-driven insight.
The Challenge
Reporting into senior supply chain leadership, this role will encompass a broad and hands-on remit, including:
- Developing detailed business cases and financial models, including NPV analysis, to evaluate operational and strategic initiatives
- Performing ad-hoc commercial analysis across fulfilment costs, productivity and pricing, including customer freight charges
- Delivering insightful weekly and month-end reporting to support informed decision-making
- Preparing concise and high-quality management and Board-level reports
- Playing a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes to help shape the organisation’s fulfilment strategy
- Analysing freight and carrier invoices to identify cost efficiencies and process improvements
- Driving the design and ongoing enhancement of comprehensive Supply Chain reporting frameworks
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience in a similar finance or commercial role within FMCG, retail, manufacturing or supply-chain-driven environments
- Strong business partnering capability with the confidence to work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate data into clear insights
- A collaborative, energetic style suited to a fast-paced and commercially focused culture
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
