The Opportunity

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the family office function and broader investments. You will be responsible for building the commercial analysis, supply chain reporting and management reporting for the business. This role offers the successful candidate a broad and dynamic scope, featuring close interaction with entrepreneurial and highly respected stakeholders, and providing opportunities for professional growth and innovation.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited too the following: 

• Improve and manage all internal reporting, forecasting, supply chain reporting and investments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring adherence to Australian accounting standards.
• Manage corporate secretarial duties and titles register for the wider group.
• Lead annual tax planning and tax forecasting, ensuring strategic tax compliance and governance.
• Manage and mentor a junior finance team member.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders and firms.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 4+ years of relevant senior experience, ideally within a highly regarded professional services firm. It’s preferable that you will have gained significant experience working within second tier accounting firm where you have worked predominantly within the business services or private clients function.
• Alternately, you are making a move out of a Senior Accountant role within a Family Group to step up to a leadership role. 
• CA qualification.
• Enjoy working as part of a small team and be willing to get your hands dirty when required.
• High attention to detail and ability to adapt to a face paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
