The Opportunity

This is a superb opportunity to join a fast-growing, privately owned business operating in the health and wellness sector.

As a senior leader within the finance team, you will take ownership of a broad Finance Manager remit, leading a high-performing team while overseeing month-end reporting, consolidations and the end-to-end AP, AR and payroll functions. You will partner closely with the C-suite and department leaders, providing commercial insight and ensuring strong financial governance across the business.

You will be joining a social, collaborative team in an organisation that delivers services which meaningfully improve the lives of its clients.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include:
• Ownership of the general ledger, including month end, balance sheet reconciliations and consolidated reporting
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs and contribution to Board and Finance Committee reporting
• Management of payroll end to end and oversight of head office AP and AR functions
• Year end accounts, tax returns and R&D claims
• Annual budget process and ongoing ad hoc analysis
• Partnering with department leads across the business to support financial outcomes
• Leading and developing a team of 4

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified, you most likely have experience in professional services, followed by a couple of years in an industry-based role
• Experience managing a team of at least two
• Ideally, you have experience working in a small / medium enterprise, sub $200M revenues
• Knowledge of Netsuite is helpful
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to contribute to a high-growth private company
