The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A professional to join a high-performing ASX-listed manufacturing business. The organisation operates across multiple locations and continues to experience steady growth.
Reporting to the CFO, this is a key role within the finance function. You will be responsible for leading the group’s financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis, while partnering closely with executive leadership to provide commercially focused insights that shape strategic decision-making.
Managing a small team, this role offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to strengthen reporting capability, enhance financial systems and embed best-practice planning processes.
The Challenge
As the FP&A Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process across the group.
- Owning cashflow forecasting and building and maintaining financial models to support planning and decision-making.
- Delivering insightful performance reporting, analysing revenue, margin and cost drivers across the organisation.
- Preparing high-quality reporting and presentations for the board, investors and executive management.
- Supporting strategic initiatives through detailed financial modelling, scenario analysis and capital investment evaluation.
- Partnering with operational leaders to align financial plans with business objectives and drive accountability.
- Overseeing pricing frameworks, cost analysis and financial controls to support sustainable growth.
- Driving continuous improvement across systems, data and reporting tools to enhance the quality and speed of financial insight.
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- CA/CPA qualification with a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8+ years’ experience within FP&A, or aligned areas.
- Experience working within a ASX-listed or multinational organisation within the FP&A function.
- Advanced financial modelling capability and strong analytical acumen.
- Strong business partnering capability, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and strong experience with reporting systems and visualisation tools such as TM1, Cognos and Power BI.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly at executive level.
