The Opportunity
Our client is a private equity backed global software company on a rapid growth trajectory. Its scalable SaaS platform is trusted by enterprises and governments worldwide, underpinned by deep technical expertise and a values driven culture of integrity, determination, and respect. This Finance Manager role is a key appointment supporting the company’s strategic growth agenda.
The Challenge
This is a broad position overseeing global financial operations, reporting and compliance within a high growth SaaS environment, the key responsibilities include:
- Financial reporting preparation, supporting group-level consolidation and reporting requirements
- Manage the general ledger and oversee month end close processes, ensuring appropriate application of accounting standards
- Monitoring global cash flow and maintain the cash flow model, supporting liquidity planning
- Deliver detailed financial analysis, budget tracking and variance reporting to leadership
- Oversee the payables and receivables functions including invoicing, collections, expenses and payments cycles
- Assisting with Australian tax and statutory compliance and supporting internal and external audits
- Identifying and implementing internal control and process improvement initiatives
- Optimising financial systems and reporting processes, including integration with broader company systems
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with key stakeholders
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Ideally, you are a chartered accountant and commenced your career with PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY or a reputable tier 2 firm
- Experience within a technology or SaaS environment (preferred)
- Superior financial accounting and statutory reporting experience
- Strong commercial acumen coupled with a hands-on approach to management reporting
- Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
- Advanced Excel capability and high proficiency in Xero
- Hands-on, self-starting and comfortable operating in a growth environment
