The Opportunity

Our client is scale-up tech company headquartered in the US, with a growing presence in Australia and New Zealand. Due to business growth, there is an immediate need and therefore the role will be offered as an initial 6-month contract, with a good chance of extension. The opportunity is best suited to candidates with a notice period of 2 weeks or less.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing month-end closing tasks, including working with offshore team
• P&L reporting and analysis
• Preparing half-year and full-year reporting (income, cash flow, balance sheet and changes in equity) and consolidated accounts
• Supporting year-end audits, providing documentation and liaising with auditors
• Project work as expected in a scaling SaaS environment. This may include acquisitions accounting, post-acquisition integration work, and streamlining processes across acquired and established entities
• Supporting with systems migration of acquired entities onto Netsuite

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified, with proven experience as a Finance Manager (ideally 2+ years at this level)
• Background in audit or business services, highly regarded
• Experience in a high-growth business or tech scale-up, advantageous
• Exposure to NetSuite, beneficial
• Experience with systems migrations, process improvement, or acquisitions accounting, viewed favourably
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Available to commence at short notice and commit to an initial 6-month term
