The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a accounting professional to join an established, diversified Australian group with a national footprint across automotive, sports and lifestyle, and corporate merchandise. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Lead, you will join a supportive finance team and manage receivables and payables for your own divisions within the group.

  • Following up on and resolving aged debtors, working to clear the current ageing backlog

  • Supporting month-end close and reporting for AR and AP
  • Maintaining process notes and implementing process improvements
  • Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team where required

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in an AP/AR or accounts assistant role, ideally with an AR focus
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
  • Proactive and confident dealing with stakeholders across multiple divisions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, particularly around debtor follow-up
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail
