The Opportunity
Our client is a reputable investment management business with a long-standing focus on renewable energy and infrastructure. With a growing presence, the group has built a reputation for disciplined investment, sustainable growth and a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Due to continued expansion, a newly created Finance Officer position has been established. Working within a supportive and high-performing finance team, this role will support the day-to-day financial operations across a portfolio of renewable energy assets, while gaining exposure across multiple entities and functions. It is an excellent opportunity to build a strong accounting foundation within the renewable energy sector.
The Challenge
As the Finance Officer, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs across renewable asset and corporate entities.
- Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable registers, monitoring outstanding balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities and ensure accurate recording in the general ledger.
- Support operational cash movements and payment approvals.
- Liaise with wider team functions such as Operations, Legal and Investment teams to support day-to-day operational finance activities.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- 1-3 years experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or a Finance Officer capacity.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities.
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and controls.
- You may be considering commencing your CA / CPA studies in the short-term.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
