The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a profitable, growing global SaaS business that is continuing to expand internationally. The company is investing in its finance function to support growth, improve systems and strengthen reporting capability.
  
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, revenue accounting and commercial support, and is well suited to an ambitious CA/CPA looking to step into a high-impact position with genuine career progression toward a leadership role.
  
The Challenge
  
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will encompass a broad and hands-on remit, including:

• Managing month-end processes, reconciliations and IFRS-compliant reporting
• Supporting statutory compliance, tax obligations and external audit requirements
• Overseeing revenue recognition and deferred revenue within a subscription-based model
• Contributing to management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Partnering with Sales and operational teams to ensure accurate reporting and commercial alignment
• Driving process improvements, automation initiatives and system enhancements

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
• 3–5 years’ experience within accounting, ideally having commenced your career within public practice and since gained experience in industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly revenue recognition and asset accounting
• Experience within a SaaS, subscription or technology environment highly regarded
• Strong Excel and analytical capability, with confidence working across ERP systems such as Xero, NetSuite or similar
• A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine interest in improving processes and building scalable systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a fast-paced, evolving organisation
