The Opportunity
A rare opportunity has become available for an up-and-coming Accountant to join a privately owned company. Our client have established themselves as one of the the most reputable privately owned businesses within this market segment in Australia. The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work alongside a high performing, supportive team and have a clear career growth trajectory. 

The Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include: 

• Prepare and complete year-end financial statements, including workpapers, loan reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
• Oversee the financial management of a range of entities within the group. 
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and appropriate disclosures.
• Handle general ledger and bank reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Prepare and review year-end income tax returns.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 2-5 years of experience in audit or business services. Alternatively, you have 3-4+ years of industry experience within a mid-sized business.
• CA/CPA qualification.
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
