The Opportunity

Our client is a household name within the technology industry with revenues topping $2bn and employing over a 1000 staff. Being a leading Tech business, they have made a conscious effort to foster a fun and engaging corporate culture.

Due to continued year-on-year growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a driven accounting professional to join a great business working with likeminded CA’s on an initial 8 month contract with view to permanency.
 
The Challenge

Reporting to a CA qualified Finance Manager, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Financial reporting while managing department P&Ls.
• Partnering with various departments within the business to ensure all costs have been accounted for correctly.
• Ensuring reporting obligations to key external regulators, such as ASIC, ABS, and the ATO are met on time and all records are accurate.
• Supporting with data analysis in response to any related audit inquiries.
• Working with FP&A team on analysis and commentary of the monthly P&L.

The Expertise

This role is ideally suited to a qualified CA who has either begun their career within the Big 4 or a Mid-Tier Chartered firm, or a reputable graduate program. You have made your first move into industry and are looking to join a more dynamic, growing business. Further, experience applying US GAAP principles is preferable.

Of course, you will possess the communication, presentation, and organisational skills required to work in a high-performance, growth business environment.
