The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role will oversee a high performing finance team and is a key part of a highly regarded leadership team. You will have end to end ownership of financial reporting, compliance and controls, and have several improvement and optimisation projects to dive into from the outset.   

A high-growth healthcare services company backed by highly regarded private equity investors, the business is well funded with a clear mandate for continued growth. 

The executive management team is strong, the board is cohesive and the private equity investors have a brilliant reputation. 

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• The production of timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
• Leadership of financial operations including credit, collections and billings
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal financial controls and risk management safeguards
• Manage the statutory taxation obligations, including preparing tax calculation work papers
• Monitoring day to day cashflow and treasury operations including banking relationships
• Oversee and drive processes for streamlining and improving accounts receivable
• Managing the relationship with external auditors and leading the annual audit process including the audit plan and timeline
• Effectively monitoring and communicating the group’s capital requirements and coordinating with CFO on funds flow

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA / CPA qualified with relevant financial leadership experience
• Ideally Big4 or Mid tier-chartered accounting experience prior to your successful transition into industry
• Ability to be hands-on with proven experience driving financial performance across a team-oriented environment
• Superior financial reporting and technical accounting experience
• Experience in the development of internal controls and financial policies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience in a capital intensive environment will be looked upon favourably
