The Opportunity

A portfolio company of one of the leading PE firms in the country, this high-growth technology company is well funded with a clear mandate for rapid future growth. 

This is a pivotal leadership role that combines financial control, tax and finance operations, FP&A and M&A with strategic influence, offering the successful candidate the chance to help shape the company’s financial direction during a period of exciting growth.

The executive management team is very strong, the board is cohesive and the private equity group is highly regarded.  

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the preparation of timely financial and management reports for the company
• Planning and directing the company’s strategic long term financial goals while evaluating existing plans
• Creating and maintaining an effective management performance framework for the company
• Conduct commercial reviews and financial analysis of key business opportunities and strategic projects
• Analyse business performance data, identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction and recommend process improvements to enhance outcomes
• Support the business in pricing strategy, including major customer contracts and re-tenders, ensuring a rigorous approach to pricing decisions and margin optimisation
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
• Coordinating all tax, audit matters and reporting matters
• Taking a lead role in driving improvements in systems and processes throughout the company

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA, ideally big 4 or mid-tier-chartered accounting experience prior to your successful transition into industry
• Ability to be hands-on with proven experience driving financial performance across a team-oriented environment
• Superior financial reporting and technical accounting experience
• Experience in the development of internal controls and financial policies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
