The Opportunity

A great opportunity has become available for an FP&A Analyst to join an established product-based business located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This role sits within a growing finance function and offers wide exposure across budgeting, forecasting, analysis and planning, supporting overall performance and commercial decision-making across the organisation.

Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, you will partner with senior leaders to provide meaningful insights, financial modelling and analysis that contribute to improved outcomes across various operational and strategic areas of the business.

The Challenge

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews
• Producing clear and insightful management reporting to support decision-making
• Building and maintaining financial models to assess performance and future opportunities
• Working with business stakeholders to provide analysis and commercial recommendations
• Supporting ongoing improvements to reporting, systems and planning processes

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• CA Qualified
• 3+ years’ experience within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier environment across Audit/Advisory, or similar experience combined with an industry role
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Confident communication and the ability to engage effectively with non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to adapt within a changing environment
• Permanent Residency or Citizenship
