The Opportunity

Our client is one of Australia’s leading corporates in their sector. Consistently growing via acquisition, they are quickly becoming one of Australia’s highly sought after employers. 

During a time of significant growth this position is pivotal in assisting with the a Group wide Oracle Fusion implementation, acting as the FP&A expert for the project before then helping them to develop a best in class FP&A function.

The Challenge

• My client is embarking on a full transformation process, including moving from multiple legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Fusion.
• The FP&A Lead will be a key contributor to the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation, responsible for translating business needs into functional requirements
• Contribute to the change management plan, including communication strategies and training materials.
• Act as a trusted liaison between the project team and end users to facilitate adoption and feedback.
• Assist with data migration planning, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity and readiness.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure trust and collaboration.
• Provide regular updates and insights to project leadership and governance forums.
• Once implemented, our client will need the successful candidate to build out a top quality Group FP&A function that produces the insight and analysis of a leading Melbourne corporate.

The Expertise

• CA/ CPA Qualification
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (or similar ERP platforms) is highly desirable.
• Deep FP&A experience in a mid- large sized corporate
• Proven ability to translate business needs into system requirements and configurations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in change management and user engagement during system implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
