The Opportunity
This is an oustanding opportunity for a Corporate Development/M&A leader to join the portfolio company of one of the world’s most decorated PE groups. A software business operating in the healthcare space, they have a clear mandate for growth in the region as they are entering an accelerated buy-and-build phase.
The Challenge
Reporting to the ANZ CEO and Group CFO (based offshore), with a dotted line to the PE sponsor, this role will lead all corporate development and M&A activity across Australia and New Zealand.
You will be responsible for building a high-quality acquisition pipeline and executing transactions that materially shape the growth and scale of the platform in the region.
- Lead the ANZ corporate development and M&A agenda
- Originate, evaluate and execute buy-side acquisitions
- Build and manage a robust, proprietary deal pipeline
- Financial modelling, valuation and investment case preparation
- Lead due diligence, negotiation and transaction execution
- Partner closely with the global CFO, executive leadership and sponsor
- Support post-merger integration and value creation initiatives
The Expertise
- Background in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory
- Strong experience in software / SaaS environments (healthtech a plus)
- Exposure to PE-backed or acquisitive businesses
- Comfortable owning deals end-to-end: origination through to completion
- Commercial, self-directed and credible with senior stakeholders
