The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a leading retail company, with a global presence. This role offers exposure to business partnering in a supportive, high-performing finance function.

This position is ideal for an industry accountant with 5+ years experience, or a CA out of Big 4/Mid-Tier Business Services or Audit looking to make their first move into commercial accounting. 

The Challenge
In this role, you will deliver precise and meaningful financial information to guide strategic business decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare accurate monthly accounts, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in creating annual budgets, track financial performance, and prepare reliable forecasts.
• Management Reporting & Analysis – Produce insightful reports, analyse trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
• Month-End & Ledger Management – Manage month-end close processes, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Accounts & Tax Compliance – Handle supplier invoices, authorise financial approvals, and ensure taxation obligations are met.
• Financial Advisory & Collaboration – Support managers with financial insights, analyse revenue and costs, and maintain high professional standards.

The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• CA or CPA qualification 
• 4-6 years experience in management accounting, financial analysis, commercial accounting or within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance and operations.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
