The Opportunity

The business is an industry leading, ASX listed infrastructure and engineering services group who have an impressive history of steady growth through fostering long-term relationships with its customers. They pride themselves on their collaborative culture with a focus on employee development. This opportunity sits within a new division and will play an important role in the finance team.

The Challenge
  
Reporting directly to the Divisional Finance Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Implement and enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to improve reporting accuracy, speed, and data-driven decision-making
• Partner with operational teams to monitor financial performance and drive cost-efficiency initiatives
• Develop and implement framework for standard costing reconciliation
• Provide detail analysis of balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to drive efficiency in planning and delivery of contracted scopes.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Support the implementation and optimisation of financial systems and reporting tools
• Collaborate with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Contribute to audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required
• Preparation of monthly management reports with insightful financial analysis

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You have worked extensively in a large complex business at a divisional level within any of the fields of  construction/ engineering/ facilities management/ utilities and or infrastructure with a strong focus on cost initiatives
• You must thrive on a good challenge and have the resilience to manage difficult conversations and enjoy the responsibility of driving commercial outcomes 
• CA/CPA qualification
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work both autonomously and as a team
