The Opportunity

Join a large, market leading FMCG business on a 3-6 month basis. Due to recent growth and new acquisitions, they are looking for a bright Accountant to join their team over the busy period. You will get a exposure to a broad range of tasks and join a high quality and close knit finance team. 

Due to the location of the business, access to a car is key

The Challenge

• Co-ordination of the completion of month end including reporting to Group accounting and reporting teams
• Co-ordination of the completion of monthly financial reconciliations including all balance sheet reconciliations together with necessary supporting documentation
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and journal entries are in accordance with the Group policy
• Assist with the monthly/annual/periodic reporting requirements
• Manage lease contracts in line with IFRS 16 lease accounting standards
• Support and engage with the business units commercial/operations teams
• Supporting the resolution of issues with business process knowledge and identifying process improvements
• Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and tasks

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/ CPA qualification 
• Demonstrate an understanding of financial accounting principles and analysis tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication with various stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills
• A car
