The Opportunity

Our client is a reputable and iconic Australian business in the consumer products sector. They are a leader within the industry, and are heavily focused on sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint. Working within a large finance team this is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Master Data Analyst with great people management skills to grow their career. 

As the Team Lead, you will have had prior experience in leading a team (performance reviews, leading meetings etc.), as well as some project management experience. This role will is broad and will span across master data management, team management, process improvement projects and stakeholder management. Ideally you will have strong excel and potentially Power BI skills to underpin your people management skills. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Shared Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the Master Data team (1 on 1’s, team meetings)
• Oversee Master Data Management processes whilst maintaining governance for customers, suppliers and materials.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (primarily Finance & IT) 
• Monthly reporting on team performance to senior leadership 
• Drive continuous process and systems improvements
• Provide Audit requirements as needed to the finance team 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Experience managing a team and excellent interpersonal skills 
• Experience with large ERP systems and excellent excel skills  
• Previous experience in a consumer products based business (eg FMCG)
• Minimum 3-5 + years’ experience within large corporate environment in a similar role 
• Power BI experience is highly desirable 
• Great attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
