The Opportunity
Exciting opportunity to join a market-leading retail business with a strong national footprint. Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial insight, credible management reporting, and robust forecasting across the group.
This position will suit a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving process improvement, influencing outcomes, and working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
The Challenge
The Planning & Reporting Manager will take ownership of groupwide financial planning and reporting, with responsibilities including:
- Leading the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, developing templates, assumptions, and analysis
- Preparing group-level presentations for ELT and Board consideration
- Delivering credible financial reporting and insights across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Liaising with Commercial Finance to understand risks and opportunities and contribute to recommendations
- Building and maintaining key financial models and scenario analyses
- Supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives through bespoke reporting solutions in NetSuite
- Driving continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes
- Managing master data and reporting attributes within financial systems
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- 10+ years’ professional experience, including 5+ in a similar Planning & Reporting or FP&A role
- Experience in large, complex organisations, ideally retail or consumer-facing
- Strong systems experience (NetSuite, NSPB, Power BI highly regarded)
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate numbers into insight
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decisions
- A hands-on, proactive approach with an eye for process improvement and detail
