The Opportunity

Our client is a private equity backed group with revenues of in excess of $100m. They are a clear industry leader possessing an envious strategy and board approved appetite for continued growth and development. This role is a key role within their finance team and will have exposure to all areas of accounting including business partnering. 

Given recent business growth, they are hoping to find someone available to commence at short notice in a temp to permanent capacity. Ideally, you’ll be able to commence within two weeks or less, and have full Australian working rights.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller and with visibility to the Group CFO and CEO, some of your key responsibilities will include;

• Partnering with the financial controllership team to ensure month end close is completed accurately and on time.
• Overseeing billing and revenue accounting
• Assisting with the annual budgets and monthly forecasting, providing commentary to key executives.
• Coordinating the annual audit and statutory reporting alongside the Financial Controller
• Identifying new processes and/or systems to improve productivity and/or make the business more efficient.
• Take the lead on maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics Navision accounting system.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills, highly organised, and enjoys working in a deadline driven environment
• Ideally you have experience in Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar ERP
