The Opportunity

Our client is a dynamic ASX industry leader possessing an envious strategy and board approved appetite for continued growth and development. This is a critical corporate tax opportunity to support the business during a time of rapid growth and transformation. 

The Challenge

A critical member of the tax department you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a broad range of direct compliance and advisory matters including:

• Preparation of Income Tax Returns
• Tax effect accounting 
• Providing superior advice to internal stakeholders
• Tax risk management and governance
• Liaising with revenue authorities and managing reviews and audits
• Supporting the team with corporate development initiatives
• Owning the tax transparency report
• Process improvement and driving transformation initiatives

Supporting the senior leadership team with various advisory projects will also form part of the position. 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

•  CA qualified, most likely you are situated in a Big 4 or a mid-tier corporate tax team seeking your first transition to industry
• Possibly, you have already transitioned out of a professional services environment and are seeking your next career move within industry
• You have significant direct corporate taxation experience 
• You will possessing excellent tax effect accounting knowledge 
• Capable of managing varied and complex tax issues including company tax risk
• High achievement drive, committed to outcomes who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Outstanding communication skills to work effectively with the senior leadership team, business units and external parties
