The Opportunity

They are a leader in transportation innovation, and pride themselves on developing sustainable transport through electronic vehicles and charging stations. 

An opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong accounts payable skillset has arisen, this Accounts Payable Supervisor position will oversee a team of 6 and will report into an inspiring finance leadership team. 

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Stakeholder management and engagement with key personal across the finance function and broader business 
• Managing a diverse accounts payable team, including 2 senior AP officers and 4 AP officers 
• Ensure the timely payment of all invoices within the group
• Reconcile supplier statements regularly and take proactive actions to resolve issues arising
• Understand where all invoices and supporting information is saved and ensure it is organised
• Understand the controls in place to ensure correct supplier invoice payments and enhance these where required
• Setting up suppliers in the ERP and complete credit applications

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You will have at least 5+ years experience working in a AP capacity, either in an AP Officer role or in a broader Accounts Officer role
• Accounting qualification or equivalent
• MS Office skills with intermediate or advanced excel skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a high complex environment
