The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity to join a portfolio company of a world-leading private equity group. This leading PE company has over $350b in assets under management and are often considered the most successful PE group globally.
This portfolio company is a diversified property group experiencing unprecedented growth. The role will report and work closely with the Head of Finance.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Delivering complete, accurate and timely financial results in conjunction with both onshore and offshore Finance teams.
- Support the preparation and review of robust and meaningful balance sheet reconciliations.
- FP&A responsibilities including assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Own the management and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Register and Tax Asset Registers.
- Support the delivery and preparation of a General Accounting activities that encompasses: Intercompany, Lease Accounting, Interest, and other month end journals.
- Own cash flow forecasts, treasury journals, documentation, tax accounting, and reconciliations.
- Assist the Finance Manager and Head of Finance in managing the preparation of higher risk areas of reporting such as cash flows, equity, higher risk provisions and key accounting estimates.
- Identify methods to update, simplify and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the end-to-end client experience through technology and/or process solutions.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Preferably, you are CPA or CA-qualified at the Senior Accountant level with property industry experience
- Possibly, you are a Chartered Accountant with 4+ years’ experience looking for your second move having progressed your career from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm into an industry accounting role
- Property industry experience is not necessary, though will be viewed favourably
- Importantly, you will be a strong communicator with an eagerness to learn and develop
- Additionally, you will be comfortable in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
