The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to consolidate on your financial reporting skillset, drive insights and process improve within a steadily growing ASX business expanding on their global operations.
The role will be responsible for managing end to end group reporting. You will likely be an experienced senior or assistant manager within a mid-tier or large chartered accounting firm looking to make your transition into industry. Whilst you will have opportunity to consolidate on your technical accounting skillset and play a key role in cross-continent reporting, you will also be able to explore you analytical skillset and assist in process improvement initiatives for the wider business. The Challenge
2IC to the Head of Reporting, you will be responsible for providing credible financial reporting and analysis at the group level. In addition, you will support:
- Management of external reporting obligations including apply technical accounting knowledge to complex transactions
- Ensuring group consolidation for monthly management reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the team with statutory obligations and deadlines
- Support the annual audit process
- Partner with key stakeholders in enhancing performance insights reporting
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including the roll-out of a new reporting platform
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA/ CPA qualified
- You are likely to have commenced your career in a chartered environment within external audit and experience with ASX listed clients
- You may also come from an ASX listed environment looking to take the next step in your career where you will take full responsibility over group consolidation and statutory reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of building relationships with key internal stakeholders
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and someone excited to contribute to the corporate culture of the business
- Exposure to large ERP systems and systems improvement initiatives will be looked upon favourably
