The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, multinational company that employs over 10,000 people globally. They are known widely for their positive impact across some of Australia’s most important industries.
Based on the CBD fringe four days per week, this role best suits an AR/Credit professional with at least 2-3 years experience with exposure to a large ERP system.
The Challenge
Reporting to the AP/AR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare aged AR reports and communicate to internal teams on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a daily bank reconciliation by ensuring customer receipts are applied to the correct invoice transactions and outgoing payments.
- Review daily customer accounts extracts and follow up any that are unduly behind.
- Complete and /or revise end to end customer credit application processes.
- Work with the finance team to close off AR functions for week / month end reporting.
- Generate aged AR reports and distribute to internal teams.
- Generate customer statements and facilitate in any requests for invoices information required to receive payment.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- At least 2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable, credit or collections
- Experience using systems such as ERP (ideally SAP).
- A high attention to detail and a strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a high performing environment
