The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly expanding national services organisation that has recently undergone significant investment from private equity. With strong, consistent growth and an ongoing focus on operational excellence, the business is centralising and scaling core back-office functions, resulting in the creation of this brand-new Billing Manager position.

Based in Melbourne’s south-east, this role will suit a billing, invoicing or AR professional seeking ownership, leadership responsibility and the chance to build a function that will continue to grow in size and sophistication.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Invoicing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the newly centralised billing function and overseeing accurate, timely invoice preparation and issuance
• Managing 2–3 Invoice Officers with future headcount growth expected
• Establishing scalable billing processes, controls and SOPs to support a national, high-volume environment
• Partnering with Finance, Operations and Sales to resolve billing issues and reduce errors, disputes and rework
• Driving continuous improvement, automation opportunities and process optimisation
• Supporting audit requirements and the integrity of billing data and systems

The Expertise
