The Opportunity 

Our client is a leading and growing ASX-listed business who is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join one of their core business units. This newly created role supports their strong growth over the past couple of years and is designed to help bridge finance and operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent business partnering skills and strong data visualisation experience in Power BI.

The Challenge

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Utilise, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to identify trends, correlations, and insights
• Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Supply Chain, providing financial insights to support decision-making 
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Analyse key drivers of revenue, margin, and cost performance to help with identifying opportunities for growth 
• Identify trends and correlations using advanced analytics techniques
• Build positive relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve business outcomes

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a finance business partnering, FP&A, or a commercial analysis role 
• Strong financial modelling skills with demonstrated experience using Power BI 
• Proven business partnering experience dealing with non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and able to articulate technical insights in a clear and concise manner
• You are CA/CPA qualified or close to completing your studies
• You are a motivated and driven individual with a strong eagerness to learn
