The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Credit Controller to join a large, well-established organisation operating across multiple divisions nationally. With continued growth and ongoing investment in people, process and technology, this role offers genuine long-term stability and development within a collaborative, supportive finance team.
You will join a young, energetic group of credit professionals in a high-volume environment where accuracy, communication and teamwork are key.
The Challenge
This role requires a capable, relationship-driven Credit Controller who enjoys ownership of a ledger and thrives in a fast-moving setting. Reporting to a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of high-volume, lower-value accounts
- Conducting proactive collections activity and following up overdue amounts
- Performing accurate reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to address billing queries
- Maintaining accurate notes, debtor records and supporting documentation
- Assisting with process improvements and contributing to a continuous-improvement culture
- Supporting the broader credit team with escalations and workload balancing
- Upholding a positive, respectful and team-focused working environment
The Expertise
You should express interest in this role if you bring:
- 2-4 years’ experience in Credit Control, AR or collections
- Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail
- Confident communication style with the ability to influence outcomes
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing overdue accounts
- Ability to handle high account volumes in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and strong alignment to a friendly, collaborative team culture
- Desire for a long-term role with training, support and ongoing development
