The Opportunity

Our client is an ASX-listed Biopharmaceutical company. Since inception less than 10 years ago, the business continue to grow as a result of fantastic leadership and an industry leading R&D team. 

This opportunity is a newly created Finance Manager role. You will work
hand-in-hand with an exceptional ASX CFO and gain exposure to the full
accounting function. It is expected that you will grow your career as the company continues to grow.

The Challenge

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Ownership of management accounts and financial statement preparation including P&L’s, CF forecasting, and BS reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting reports, analysis, and presentation 
• Manage and oversee the group’s AP operation, and AR ledger 
• Manage controls of payroll function 
• Manage and oversee banking and payments system 
• Continually seek new methods and procedures to streamline, automate, and simplify daily activities and month-end close
• Provide timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis. Drive the identification and improvement of issues and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following;

• Possibly, you are a CA/CPA working for an ASX-listed company having initially started your career for a chartered practice.
• Possibly, you are a CA and at Manager level within a chartered accounting firm looking to make your first move into industry.
• Possibly, you are currently a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant working for an ASX-listed company, or for a biotechnology/health company.
• You possess superior communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to partner and influence key non-finance executives. 
• Highly adaptable and eager to work in a dynamic environment.
